The township of Terralba lies on the southside of the Gulf of Oristano. It is a lively little town. Nearby you can find Marceddi, an old fishermansvillage. South of Terralba was the Phoenician-Punic town of Neapolis, now almost completely vanished. The place is still called Santa Maria di Nabui (reminiscent of Neapolis like Napoli, Napels).
