Hannibal voor de poorten. De geschiedenis van Rome XXI-XXX
Dutch translation of Livius Ab Urbe Condita, books XXI-XXX also known as Hannibal ante portas. In these books Livius describes the second Punic war through the eyes of the Romans. About Sardinia Livius tells the story of Hampsicora and the war against the Romans by the Sardinians under his guidance. The Sardinians and the Carthaginians that were sent in their aid were beaten by the experienced Titus Manlius Torquatus.

The Comedies Volume III
The Little Carthaginian (Poenulus) is the english translation of Plautus' comedy in Comedies: v. 3 (Complete Roman Drama in Translation). He makes fun of the Punics and Phoenicians through their language. Difficult to translate, but here quite well achieved. Plautus contributed much to the perception of Carthaginians and Phoenicians we still have today.
