This volume presents the work done during the underwater excavations around Capo Mannu. Scientists believe Capo Mannu was the site of the Korakodes portus mentioned by several ancient and medieval sources. The various texts explain how the work of underwater archaeology was undertaken and what has been examined. There are also contributions by Paolo Bernardini on the Phoenician expansion west and Carlo Tronchetti on Italian sigillata in Sardinia. This book certainly deserves to be read by everybody interested in Sardinian archaeology.
